Road Closure

On Thursday 19 January 2017 Western Power will begin laying cables on Cottage Lane, resulting in the road being closed to vehicles from the junction of Church Lane, Bell Lane and Shottery at the mini roundabout.

The road will be completely closed up to the bend just before the entrance to the Cottage Car Park.  This means that all vehicles must access the Coach Park and Car Park on Cottage Lane from the Alcester Road. There will be diversion and 'open for business' signs in place. Pedestrians will still be able to access Cottage Lane as usual.

Western Power envisage the work will take approximately 1.5 weeks.  After this time, rolling road works will move along Cottage Lane past the Cottage up to the Alcester Road end of the road. Western Power currently estimate this will last until the end of March.  During this time there will temporary traffic lights in place allowing only one lane of traffic to proceed at a time.

Any visitors that purchase a Town & Cottage Pass or Town, Cottage & Farm Pass during this period, please allow more time for your journey
