Our region covers South Warwickshire, including Stratford upon-Avon, Warwick, Kenilworth, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Coventry and Coventry, and the surrounding towns and villages.  

By Car: Only 1.5 hours from London, Shakespeare’s England offers you and your travelers the chance to have a unique and traditional experience in the Heart of England. 

By Rail: Under 1.5 hours from London and 20 minutes from Birmingham airport and the rail station, well connected with Avanti West Coast, West Midlands trains and Chiltern Railways.

By Air: Only 20 minutes from Birmingham International (BHX) airport. With daily flights from/to the USA, Canada, Middle East, UAE, India, and Europe.   

Who We Are: 

Shakespeare’s England is a not-for-profit, public-private partnership recognised as the official Destination Management Organisation (DMO) for Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Kenilworth, Royal Leamington Spa and the wider South Warwickshire region. The idyllic destination encompasses parts of the Cotswolds and some of England’s most charming towns,  

We are home to world famous attractions including the Royal Shakespeare Company, Warwick Castle and Shakespeare’s Birthplace, The British Motor Museum, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and more. This is where history and heritage come to life.  

A blend of more than a thousand years of history and innovation, a packed festival and events calendar, a dynamic cultural programme and some of the best food and drink in the UK, makes the region a relaxed yet cutting-edge destination.
